System will need bulk payment file uploads in a predefined format from customer’s core /ERP System.
- This leads to formats compatibility issue between customer and bank’s systems as files generated from customer’s core /ERP system in many cases are not directly compatible.
Bank needs to build client specific adapters to make file formats compatible on ongoing basis.

Conversion Adapters Development Process – V Model

Byzan’s approach provides well defined process (V- model) for implementing adapter development work along with Bank’s EB implementation team
Proposed Process
- Bank, will receive information for the custom development of the adapter
- Byzan Developer/Lead will visit the customer site/ Bank and understand the existing output file from the customer’s ERP (If required)
- Based on the requirement he/she will provide the first level information with feasibility and timelines Bank’s Implementation Manager
At Byzan development center (Byzan Premises) following activities will be carried out
- Development for the specified adapter
- The first level testing and validations
The pre UAT will be carried out at the customer’s site and there may be an iteration of another code change for bug fixes and changes at the developer’s end (if required )
The final UAT will be carried out at the customer’s premises / Bank and signoff will be taken.
Approved adapter will be installed on customer’s live environment after approval from the IM

Integration Adapters Development – Standard Practice

Bank IM/RM will receive information for the custom development of the adapter and convey the same to the Byzan developer and Byzan RM
Developer will visit the customer site and understand the existing output file from the customer’s ERP and will provide the first level information with feasibility and timelines for the development to Bank’s IM/RM
Development for the same will be carried out from the development center of the programmer in Byzan. The first level testing and validations will be carried out at the developer’s site itself at Byzan
The pre UAT will be carried out at the customer’s site and if required there may be an iteration of another code change for bug fixes and changes at the developer’s end
The final UAT will be carried out at the customer’s premises and signoff will be taken. The same will be installed on customer’s live environment after approval from the Bank IM/RM
